About Myself: I am Duane Swanberg, retired and living in a retirement community in Central Florida called "The Villages". We have about 30,000 residents and several hundred activities to keep us out of mischief. Two caught my eye, the Computer Club and the Genealogy Club. I joined both. The Genealogy Club piqued my interest as no one in our family had ever taken an interest in researching our family's history. I wondered about our family's ancestors. Unfortunately both my Mother and Father had passed away, so it was a matter of collecting whatever information my bother and sisters could remember.
